Tourism Council seeking your Blackstone Valley photos and videos


The Blackstone Valley Tourism Council is seeking personal photos and videos about how you enjoy and experience the 9 Blackstone Valley communities.


The Tourism Council is expanding its video and photo archives to include as many images as possible of people and families experiencing the Blackstone Valley 's many activities - private and public.  The videos and photos will be used in various tourism marketing opportunities. 


To encourage participation the Tourism Council will offer one monthly prize for participants that share their videos and photos.  The Council is encouraging photos that show people enjoying activities and promoting the great scenery, resources and places found throughout the region, which is now America ís 402nd  National Historical Park .


"We would like people to be creative and share their images that really show the fun and excitement of the Blackstone Valley ", said Council President Robert D. Billington.  "The Blackstone Valley has much to offer that people may not know about, and we want everyone help to show it off, and encourage others to visit" Billington said.


Please note that your pictures and videos may be used in online, print, video or other media, and your images become the property of the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council for perpetual use.  The contest will be on-going.


Submission requirements are as follows:

  • Upload your photos and videos to
  • All photos should be 300 dpi resolution or higher.
  • The Blackstone Valley Tourism Council will retain rights to use the photos in any media, without requiring permission from the submitter and photo credit will be used.
